In fact, Eddie Vedder has a Smith Corona Silent typewriter from the 1940’s that he used to type lyrics for some Pearl Jam albums. My brother is getting a portrait of Eddie Vedder in a Smith Corona Sterling for Christmas. I typed the lyrics of the song ‘Present Tense’ into the background of the portrait because my brother loves that song and recommended it as an apt background for the portrait.
