James McLain has worked for 30 years as the director of the Bellevue Youth Theater in Bellevue, Washington. James has directed over 100 productions and has impacted the lives of thousands of children and adults. In June of 2022 he retired and I typed his portrait because of my appreciation of his commitment to children’s theater and for the many ways he impacted my children's lives. My family performed in multiple plays together helping us to create family memories to last throughout our lives.
