I typed Dolly Parton in the spring and summer of 2026 because of my appreciation for her philanthropic spirit, talent, wit and drive to share her music with the world. I admired how she came from such humble beginnings and was driven to create and perform music for her entire life. She never forgot to give credit where credit was due to the people who supported her and and gave her the encouragement to succeed as a musician. She was beautiful inside and out, used humor in her work and was somebody who emulated many of the important qualities that help to define success in a person and musician.
